Largest Subscribers: Minnesota Department of Transportation. All other subscribers are residents or family-owned businesses.
Design Challenges Faced and Means of Overcoming those Challenges: Need to work in a space constrained site with adequate spacing and visual barriers for neighboring views. Also need to avoid some shading from surrounding trees as well as an awkward site access through landowners existing access road.
Apadana coordinated closely with Rice County Zoning Department, MNDOT, Xcel Energy, and the landowners to resolve these issues.

This project will produce enough energy to power 45 average Minnesotan homes. We seed every one of our community solar gardens with a pollinator-friendly seed mix that provides a habitat for bees, butterflies, and other native species.
